Please give a more detailed description of what this module does and some possible usage scenarios.
At it stands, the description is more than vague.

If you've spent any time in the issue query then you know that when a comment is posted as a follow up, using have the ability to switch fields using dropdowns. Example.

if someone posts a bug and submits the issue.
The next user can switch it from bug, to support request. or from bug to fixed, so on so forth.

That's what this module is similar to.

see the drop down menus on these screens in the issue query ?

this module does the same type of thing allowing you to change CCK fields using dropdowns when comments are made.
