Hi tried serveral times to get slideshow pro working (drupal 5.2 / views 5.x-1.6).
But after i put some code in the body like

[ssp|path=path/to/your/feed|width=300]

nothing happends. i see the code like i entered it. no flash file.

I used your trail version of ssp.swf.

you did not follow all the steps in the readme.txt file included in the module

specifically:
5) Go to Administer->Filter Formats and turn on "Inline SSP Slideshows" for
the input format of your choice.

which would replace the code you have there, with the actual slideshow. What's happening is because you did not enable the filter in the input format of your choice Drupal does not know what to do with those tags.

You right, it's working fine now!

It was so simple, but i never add an additional input format before.
Maybe i thought drupal will handle this automatically after module installation!

Next time i know where i have to check up if this happens again...

I followed the directions exactly in the readme file as well as the video tutorial. The slide show comes up as a blank black box. Sometimes it comes up as a black box with the numbers on the bottom and scrollers but that's about it. No images ever show up. Is there something else I am missing or I should look into?

Also, the ssp.swf example file link is broken.

I tried to get that file thinking that it may have been how i generated the swf file. Does somebody else have an example test file I can use to try just in case that was the problem?
