I've created a site where users need to log in to see some information. They create an account and then I need to review and activate it. The computer then sends out a one time log in link to them.
A person emailed me saying that they got the registration link, and clicked on it, but the form on the site requires that they give their old password in order to set their new password. They told me they don't remember setting a password, so what is it?
I went out and created a dummy account, and found nowhere to enter an original password. The confirmation email I got after activating the account didn't have the original password in it. I have no idea what the original password might be.
I can't find anywhere on the configuration to allow the new user to create a password, nor a place to have it sent by email.
What am I missing?

Found a module called "User
Found a module called "User Registration Password" that seems to correct what, IMHO, is this bizarre default behavior. Hopefully I'm just missing something that explains the way the base install is supposed to work.
