Currently only menu's that container links are displayed. Queried from table menu_links. Wouldn't it be better to show all available menu's. Maybe not all menu's have links in it yet. In my case I have to menu's per language and >40 languages.

I made a small patch.

This module already has a hook "hook_menu_breadcrumb_menu_list($list)"
You can modify the list here, rather than modifying the current code.
