Possibly by design and not necessarily a bad thing.. but seemed odd:
- when alpha paging is selected (under "page view") it adds an alpha page into the block view as well - even if page view is not enabled.
- and numeric pager doesn't get added
I guess ideally it would be nice to have paged or numeric control within a view block - so i guess this makes this more of a feature than a bug.

I got the same issue. It could be usefull to get an alpha pager into a block but usually they are quite small to show nicely a pager.
Could someone give me a clue about how to modify this feature?

This is obviously a bug as the standard pager behaves differently and as definition for the pages is under the page parameters and not the block parameters.
Pity this issue is completely ignored for more than 9 months.
