Issue Summary

When opening Drupal Commons in IE8, the Site Name is displaying too low. Please see the attache screenshot:

Thanks - The theme is still under active development so this should be addressed in the next couple of weeks.

The theme is REALLY looking good in FF and Chrome. However, IE 8 is still having a lot of problem. In particular:

  • Site Name still below the blue bars
  • Group pages do not show the tabs for each content type properly
  • Top of drop downs gets cutoff on the What's going on page
  • Search text box and button missing
  • Username, Logout and Settings links display vertically to the far right

It's definitely getting better. Our stores are still running WinXP/IE8, so this is a must. Even when we go to Win7, we will still be running IE for most of our remote locations.

This issue still occurs with FireFox and is a duplicate of this issue Site title disappears with domain URL, but appears with IP URL.

Not working

  • FF 17.0.1

Works fine

  • IE 9.0.8112
  • Chrome 23.0.1271.97 m
