I am looking for somebody who can teach me how to design the page (or theme) the drupal 5.x 6.x. pay by hour (£30) or you decide how much you want.

I want to learn how to design the page for drupal ( theme for the whole site and some different looking pages at the different position) .
I am male ,30, I know simple html, css, I don't know php, but I have been looking at php for a while, I can understand they use 'print' to print different content in the different postion of the pages.

I have been working for drupal for a while, I know most of the function of drupal now, coz it's design for easy to use also for my type of person who doexn't know coding also should be able to use it.

So,I have my drupal site already, I just want somebody who can teach me how to design the pages and theme the drupal 5.x and 6.x. I guess it shouldn't be too diffcult, just the relationship between that several files which contrnling the look of the site.

If you believed you have enough abiliaty to help, I would like to pay by hour or you can decide how much I should pay for this face to face teaching.
We can have a coffee in starbucks and start our course. I can bring my laptop to starbucks.

2 good resources:
- hit the Handbook link at the top of this page and go to the Theme Developer's Guide section
- http://apress.com/book/downloadfile/3486 is a chapter on themeing from the excellent Pro Drupal Development book. The other (older) Apress book on Drupal (also includes info on phpBB and WordPress) also has a good chapter on themeing, though much of it is covered in the above download

Yes, to make a page template for a theme essentially you just take your raw (X)HTML page and put the PHP print statements in the appropriate places.

Also, come to the UK user group meetups in London www.drupal.org.uk.
