How Do I Increase Max File Upload Size? - Drupal 7, Bluehost

Hey Everyone!

As the post title indicates, I have a D7 installation on Bluehost and don't know how to increase the max_file_size or the upload file size. I don't really know where to check and cant find the php.ini file people are talking about in the very few (and limited) walkthroughs I've found. I'm sure this is a novice problem, but there are other novices out there who can hopefully learn from this one!

I appreciate all your help and advice. I'm eager to learn.
Thanks!!

All the best,
Jordan Beckett

Hi Jordan, Some hosting

Hi Jordan,

Some hosting providers allow you to create your own php.ini and put it in the root directory of your hosting account (public_html/ or whatever). You may try that and then try putting the directives you need like:

upload_max_filesize = 2M

or whatever.

Check out this link for more info from Bluehost. It looks like they give you a couple of different configs to override the default. The single php.ini config may be useful for you to override your whole account.

Best of luck!
