How do I get Drupal to accept entry of special characters (My native language , Danish, has 29 characters in the alphabet) into the TITLE field of a Service (Content type)?

Try enabling the LOCALE
Try enabling the LOCALE module in Drupal core, then set the site to your default language that way

Just enter them. Use the character, not an HTML entity. If you do this, but it "doesn't work", please elaborate on the issue you experience (what do you do, what happens + screenshot? etc).
