right now, if a test server doesn't send back file results, the pift server keeps sending the file. we want this, but i think it makes sense to throttle it to give the test server time to process. like maybe if we have sent a file and haven't heard back in an hour, then send it again

rok and i have decided the following:

  • patches will be timestamped when they are sent for testing
  • untested patches will be re-sent if they don't receive a response from the test server within one day.

the 're-send interval' will be configurable, and we'll most likely use a 2 hour interval for d.o
