Allow 'multiple' category to be a 'single'

Issue Summary

Hi,
I've got a category defined as multiple. However, in a certain content type I'd like to use it as Single. Is it possible?

I, too, am looking to use a vocabulary in both contexts and thought this module could help. I'll let you know if I find anything
