I have a need for only one site glossary. Unsurprisingly, I've called it "Glossary". The glossary page comes up titled "Glossary: Glossary", which is a bit repetitious.
Here's a small patch to change the page title to "Glossary" when there's only one glossary called "Glossary".

nancydruThis looks good to me. The only suggestion I would make is not to even check for a single Glossary - if it's named "Glossary," just leave it off.

nancydruI've been thinking about this. Because of another issue and because I have a site coming that will have multiple glossaries, I created a second vocabulary called "Dictionary" so on that one I get a title of "Glossary: Dictionary." I think we might consider removing "Glossary" entirely.
I'd also love to have the vocabulary description just under the title, and above the alphabar.

I'd like to see discussion on #3 above.

mark matuschka commentedI agree with #3 - remove "Glossary:" entirely. It's computer-speak.
Printing the description makes sense to me, but note that the taxonomy system doesn't do this elsewhere. I'd still support it.

nancydruFix committed. There are several things the taxonomy system doesn't do - check how many modules there are to correct those deficiencies.
