iPad for Drupal installation on Cloud?

I am going to use Drupal for creating a personal website. I need a personal computer for this, and can't afford a MacAir. I was going to get a convertible Dell laptop tablet, but was told I might be able to use Drupal with an iPad. Now that I see you can install on a cloud, is this possible or do I need to get a regular PC or Mac laptop?

Should be possible… may not be ideal

I think you might be able to use an iPad or even smartphone to administer a Drupal system, but it may be less than ideal.

Essentially, all you need is a web browser to access and create content on a Drupal site. But there are so many variables, it's hard to give you a definitive answer.

Some hosts have install scripts, and you do everything through a web interface. But how (and where) are you going to backup your database? It could all be done in the cloud, so this is certainly doable.

The iPad doesn't come with a physical keyboard, so you may find creating content a challenge. Although voice dictation is something to consider… and you can buy bluetooth keyboards for the iPad.

So in theory, i think it could be done. Probably isn't ideal.
