Issue Summary
Alright, so just came across this module and couldn't get this module to work at all, no error messages, just not working. So did some searching and I'm now using Universally Unique ID (7.x-1.0-alpha2), Features (7.x-1.0), UUID Features (the latest 7.x-1.x-dev) and everything is working. Project maintainers, please post this on the project page so meanwhile there won't be so many troubled users out there.

Just a note, because I had to read the above 3 times to get it right: the point is to use the development version of uuid_features / UUID Features Integration, not the recommended version.

After many hours trying to figure this out I finally came across this post, thanks, but the versions listed above still don't provide me with the ability to export vocabularies.
I am navigating to Structure > Features > Create Feature > Select "Taxonomy: taxonomy" from "Edit components" drop down > Shows only "Tags" in the list of available taxonomies.
Do we know what the problem is, that we could fix and commit back to the project, given it's untouched for 5 months...?
Alternatively, can anyone point me to a way to add the terms to the module generated by Features? The enabled module adds the taxonomy correctly, but not the terms, so I just need something to hook into to run taxonomy_term_save() after the hook_taxonomy_default_vocabularies() implementation.

You should get an extra dropdown in the list of components, with a list of all the tags. I think it's called "Taxonomy terms", and very close to taxonomies.

But where is it? I have the same issue. Only 'Tags' is there.Ok, with the dev version it does appear in the components list. But but it still doesn't export the terms, how odd.

Using latest stable release of Features. (7.x-1.0)
+ UUID latest dev
+ UUID_features latest dev
And it works fine. Images do not come with the node though. Perhaps file_entity would help with that. Hrm.

UUID Features is still under heavy development. Please do not use it on production sites.

Is there a roadmap for GA release for this module? It seems nearly dead - not really in "heavy" development.
Also, I would advise that if this is the case, maintainers definitely should not have recommended releases on the project page.
They might also consider warning people of that fact on the project page.

A stable version will soon be released. The problem is that UUID has been reworked and UUID Features hasn't followed up the API changes.
