Having all the Meta tags fields visible when filling them out will have no impact is a confusing user experience. I think they should be hidden when the "Override defaults with the following values" checkbox is unchecked. Patch to follow.

I haven't tried this patch but I don't think it will do what you want because I'm assuming here that it hides all the possible nodewords settings. However nodewords_nodetype only allows override of 3 (robots, keywords, description) settings by node type. So the checkbox should have no effect on all the others such as canonical URL, copyright and all the open graph tags.

The whole thing is a complete UI disaster when an admin user sees every possible option. I agree on that.
