Users can't upload their own avatar when avatar_selection is enabled. All permissions is set correctly. But when I choose the picture from my PC to upload and save profile my avatar still stays the same, that i have with avatar_selection. But when i choose other avatar through avatar_selection module new avatar appears as i choose it. Strange thing, but I can't use this module with this bug. I hope you fix it.
By the way, I'm using Drupal 5.3
