Site-wide roles and permissions for users in groups
Organic Groups 7.x-2.x allows site builders to configure site-wide roles and permissions applying to users in any group on the site.
Site-wide roles can be configured on the page Administration > Configuration > Organic groups > OG roles overview.
Site-wide permissions can be configured on the page Administration > Configuration > Organic groups > OG permissions overview.
Group-specific roles and permissions for users in groups
Additionally, Organic Groups 7.x-2.x allows site builders to override roles and permissions on a per-group basis.
The first time, go to Administration > Configuration > Organic groups > OG field settings, select your Group bundle, select the "Group roles and permissions" field, and click "Add field".
Then, for each group in which you'd like to customize roles and permissions:
- Go to a group's Edit tab, change the "Group roles and permissions" field value to "Override default roles and permissions", and click "Save".
- Go to the group's Group tab, and change group-specific roles and permissions.
