Calendar day tabs

I am trying to recreate something like http://www.acleisure.com/classes-acl/fitness-timetable-acl.html it is a simple day view that has tabs at the top to represent the next 7 days. I would like to replace next/prev with a system like this.
One way I could do this is to work out how to pass a relative date via the URL eg date()now+1 etc but I don't know how this can be done and there may be an existing example
