colorado commentedPlease post a link to a live page, so I can debug... thanks!
colorado commentedI changed the z-index from 100 to 1000 in the suckerfish stylesheets in CVS. Please test and let me know if that fixes it...
colorado commentedOK I tested that on the demo site, and it does not fix... I'll keep working on it...
colorado commentedFYI - Here is a post you can follow where I am also trying to resolve this issue:
http://www.roopletheme.com/forum/index.php?topic=216.0
Comment #5
ryo commentedSorry I couldnt reply fast because of the time difference (my time zone is +0900).
And yes, I read the your post
http://www.roopletheme.com/forum/index.php?topic=216.0
It seems to take a while to fix the problem, but never mind, it's a minor issue.
Thanks.

ryo commentedThere might be some tips in Googling sucker fish behind flash.
ryo commentedJee, in case of YouTube, the suckerfish menu is NOT behind...
colorado commentedHere's a solution posted on the roopletheme forum thread:
http://www.roopletheme.com/forum/index.php?topic=216.msg1106#msg1106
I tried it and it does work.
ryo commentedI tried myself, and wow, it does work for me with FF and IE6.
The problem to be solved is how to implement the code automatically...
More power to you!
colorado commentedI found that adding wmode="transparent" into the embed code for the video seems to fix it.
Unless someone can think of a way to force the suckerfish to stay on top, the fix above can be coded into the module(s) that are used to embed the videos, as suggested here: http://www.roopletheme.com/forum/index.php?topic=216.msg1106#msg1106

ryo commentedI'm sorry, but what do you mean by the part of the quotation above?
Usually, in order to embed the video in the node-body, any module isn't used.
So how the fix can be coded?
Actually, there is a module named Googtudbe to embed Youtube and Google Videos to the node-body by the urls, so do you mean to use this module?
Or to embed videos from the third party providers to the CCK field (I think), Embedded Meddia Field (though I haven't used it yet) will be used.
Thouht?
colorado commentedSorry Ryo,
What I mean is, that the work-arounds discussed in http://www.roopletheme.com/forum/index.php?topic=216.msg1106#msg1106 can be applied manually inside the embed code, in the editor as a node is created (as you have done); or that the workarounds can be coded into the default output of a module if one is used to display the videos.
At the moment I don't see a way to globally code a fix into the theme.
ryo commentedHi Colorado,
Well, even from a layman's point of view as me, it seems to be difficult or impossible to globally code a fix into the theme.
But still, the manualwork-arounds inside the embed code is a pain and not a Drupalish way, so it would be deisired to have the code implemented in such modules as Embedded Media Field or Googtube.
I'll try to persuade the authors of those modules.

colorado commentedGood plan Ryo...
