Description
Could you explain me how this module works and what does exactly?
What I'm looking for is something that permits me to make users login only by clicking a link and that the link redirects to a page that I want. Not the page of the password changing.
Would this module help me??

This module does one thing quite nicely.
It creates a csv file that has userid, username, email address, and a url for a one-time login that a user may use to log in and then, presumably, change his password so as to be able to use the website you have created.
To use it, install and enable the module in the normal way.
Then, navigate to admin/user and select the user management item. The One-time login links tab will immediately generate the file and send it to your computer for download. THe link looks line this:
http://www.mysite.com/user/reset/291/11397682582/966cd53ce44464d35c330ae...
Use mailmerge in word or something else to send emails to your members telling them how to log in. Voila!
Here is an example of the mailmerge I am sending out right now:
Hello «NICK»!
As part of the general directory and on-line presence update, we’ve replaced all the logins to the members’ portal with new ones and new accounts. The account for «FIRST» «LAST» may be accessed at http://mysite.com/. Your username and password were sent to you separately. If that does not work for you somehow, you may also log in using the password request, or you may use the special one-time link.
Username: «Name» or your email, «Mail»
You may change your password and username at any time. You should probably change the password.
