Hi There,

A while ago when I used XML Site Map Module to create the Site Map for my site.

It used all the resources of my website.

Like my server went over the roof and I actually couldn't access the website because server was eventually down.

Then from Drush console I turned off the module and website came back to normal.

I don't know what was the issue but you are more then welcome to visit my website on www.emergingstars.com.

Sounds to me as if you have misconfigured server entities.

You need to check your log files for each of the services served by the server. Especially take a look at the DB server.
