When trying to install ERPAL dev from the 14.12.2012, I got:

Notice: Undefined index: drupal in update_requirements() (line 35 of /var/www/erpal/modules/update/update.install).

Hi,
have you tried the newest version? I just installed it local and it worked like a charm.

meego’s picture

Hi andrisek,

yes I have. The one from today like I wrote:
"When trying to install ERPAL dev from the 14.12.2012..."

Anybody any idea?

Except the other error (http://drupal.org/node/1866652) ERPAL worked im my Test like a charm.
Congratulations to Manuel and "friends" for such an impressive installprofile and functionality!

i can confirm the same error. it happens because of the way you packed the file here on d.o the system automatically adds an info file and it says erpal, not drupal ...
the "proper way" would be to create a make file only and let d.o. pack it all together. if you want i can try to help you with that.

another problem with a similar root :
Module admin_menu cannot be enabled because it depends on system (>7.10) but 1.0-dev+335-dev is available
(the packaging system enters erpal version number into all system modules info files)

and that probably explains why @andrisek doesnt see the problems - i guess you are not using the tarball, right ?

meego’s picture

@mojzis You are right. - The cloned GIT version has not this Problem.

* In the meantime nobody should use the dev from drupal.org *

BTW - I'm having the same problem with openoutreach profile. It may be a problem with the way the profile is set ???

I'm facing the same issue:

Notice: Undefined index: drupal in update_requirements() (line 35 of C:\wamp\www\LocalDrupalStore\modules\update\update.install).

I had the Commerce Kickstart 7x. 2.0 rc4 installed and then i wanted to activate the Commerce Kickstart Menus Module.
I didn't like it so turned it off and then my toolbar was kinda broken (see attached image) and some of the toolbar links didn't open in an overlay.

I updated using commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.0-no-core but i still get the undefined index: drupal error and i have no idea how to make the toolbar look like it did before.

Can someone help me ?

@cn313 : i siwtched the project's task back to ERPAL, since the discussion is mostly about ERPAL. Your problems should probably be described in a new issue in the Commerce Kickstart queue. I am almost sure the broken toolbar doesnt have much to do with the "Undefined index: drupal" notice. On the other hand, that could be an issue in the combination of the update module and the packaging system, given the fact that it was reported to misbehave in several projects.
@meego i suggest you start a new issue about the fields - again : that doesnt have anything to do with the original drupal notice ...
I might as well start a new issue for my comment :) about the way this project is packaged - thats a specific erpal issue ...
