Hi,

When trying to configure the gallery module I repeatedly got error 500, after trying to synchronize users I started to get error 500 in my entire Drupal site. Only after removing the gallery module folder from my server, my Drupal site worked again.
Looking back, the gallery status block, before I tried to synchronized user, the user synchronize line really showed 'error', should paid more attention to it.

Check your server logs for timeouts, exceeded memory limit or rewrite issues. If you have the 'URL Rewrite' plugin enabled in G2 try again without it first.

Disabling rewrite didn't solved it. About the log didn't found any of the things you mentioned, but it first time I'm looking into one so I might have missed it.

Btw I noticed it says it an aceess log, is it the right log to look into? It's the only type I can find.

Same issue here. 500 errors for any page on the site. My php memory limit is 32mb, which is the highest I can go, and I've disabled URL Rewrite and a ton of unnecessary G2 plugins. It happens with both php 4 and php 5.

Here's what's added to the error_log after trying to sync.

FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 1071336 bytes
[Mon Nov 5 15:37:48 2007] [error] [client 69.145.134.192] Premature end of script headers: /htdocs/bison/index.php

After moving a host the problem was solved (I got another one now but I can view galleries and create albums). I suspect the problem cause by server configurations.
