profix898 commentedCheck your server logs for timeouts, exceeded memory limit or rewrite issues. If you have the 'URL Rewrite' plugin enabled in G2 try again without it first.
Sooki commentedDisabling rewrite didn't solved it. About the log didn't found any of the things you mentioned, but it first time I'm looking into one so I might have missed it.

Sooki commentedBtw I noticed it says it an aceess log, is it the right log to look into? It's the only type I can find.

criznach commentedSame issue here. 500 errors for any page on the site. My php memory limit is 32mb, which is the highest I can go, and I've disabled URL Rewrite and a ton of unnecessary G2 plugins. It happens with both php 4 and php 5.
Here's what's added to the error_log after trying to sync.
FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 1071336 bytes
[Mon Nov 5 15:37:48 2007] [error] [client 69.145.134.192] Premature end of script headers: /htdocs/bison/index.php

Sooki commentedAfter moving a host the problem was solved (I got another one now but I can view galleries and create albums). I suspect the problem cause by server configurations.
