Using zengrids for D6 zen sub-theme

Issue Summary

Hi

i'm looking for a base theme to do responsive design on D6 existing website and zen seem to do the trick..but..
i would to use grid system to transpose my actual custom theme (many node.tpl custom) to zen,and i think zengrids could be the one..but only version 5 for D7 seem to do taht..so can i do that with the D6 version ?

if yes i need documentation and explanation on this.;
if not, does exist a D6 base theme for that ?
