Get first child with mlid parent

Hello,

I want to get the nid of the first child of my node. For that, I have the mlid node parent.
How can I do?

What exactly are you trying to do? Can it be accomplished with Menu Block?

Or would any of the code here help? (Make sure you scroll down to where they have D7 code!)
