It'd be nice if instead of automatically having every menu expand irregardless of if it's expansion is 'yes' or 'no', it'd be nice if simplemenu respected these options.

This would require that every parent menu item would need to be edited and set to expanded in order for the module to work as it does now.

I don't see a valid use case for this.
