Appreciate any help/feedback on this! I've noticed it in at least 2 Drupal installs.

When a curved apostrophe us copy/pasted into a node title, and node title is used to generate the URL aliase, the curved apostrophe is inserted into the URL itself in spite of aliase settings set to remove apostrophes.

For example: http://screencast.com/t/ZbM0w7vMuid

Even though: http://screencast.com/t/pvYww7lVH (in /admin/config/search/path/settings)
