Hi,

From what i can tell the module only creates block for 'multiple-select' vocabularies. It would be helpful if there are blocks available for non multiple-select vocabularies as well.

Thanks.

Hmmm... It's sort of a different use case: "Others in this category". This module is really meant for using with a "keywords"-style vocabulary.

However, I think that "Similar entries from ANY vocabulary" might work for you.

Can you tell me more about your use case?

Thanks for the response. I'll try to explain as clearly as possible what i want to accomplish.

I have a content type, news, that is associated with three (non-hierarchical, non-multi-select, non-free tagging) vocabularies: organisation, province and topic.

When a node is viewed, I would like to display 3 blocks, one for each vocabulary, providing links to content similar by terms.

An example:

A news story is associated with term AnOrganization (from vocabulary organisation), AProvince (from vocabulary province) and ATopic (from vocabulary topic). One block should should provide links to content associated with AnOrganisation, one block links to content associated with AProvince and one block links to content associated with ATopic.

Ideally, each block would have the corresponding term (AnOrganisation, AProvince or ATopic) as block title.

Your module would be perfectly usable if it would create blocks for single-select vocabularies as well.

It turns out I have a need for this, too.

Changing status back to active. I meant to edit a different issue.

I add my voice to this request.
I understand the explanation from jjeff, but think that adding an useful function to just a portion of the cms (only multiple select vocabularies can be "Similar by terms"-enabled) is not logic.
Originally I did not understand why a few vocabularies had their "Similar by terms" block created and others did not.
This module is helpful so why limiting it? :-)
I hope it is not too difficult to support all the available types of vocabulary. I am available for testing.
