It would be lovely if cod had a feature that allows reviewers to rate submitted sessions on a set of metrics. This information could then help create the event schedule. Though this is similar to the cod_session_evaluations functionality, the access settings and use case are completely different.

I've started work on a feature to do this in a sandbox. The basics are currently there, but no access checks are currently being performed, so the reviews are not yet private (and they should be!)

If and when the feature is ready, I'll create a patch to add it into cod_support (unless there are objections ;-)

Theres a similar thing in development called joind.in, and theres a sandbox module (http://drupal.org/sandbox/Eli-T/1831794).
Info on joindin:

Joind.in is the replacement for all those paper submission forms that get left on the floor at the end of an event. The site gives details of events past, present and future, the sessions, timetable and speakers at each, and allows all attendees to register and leave feedback - for the sessions and for the event itself.

As well as the website, there is an open API and applications are freely available for iphone and android, and there is a wordpress plugin to show your event information on your own site.

I don't know how likely it is COD folks would want a third-party system integrated into it, but it could be a good add-on contrib module. I think it would be nice to have some basic session evaluation built into (and stored in) COD.

I've finished porting the cod session evaluations from drupalcon to COD. It provides some initial functionality. Future feature requests/changes to this feature can be done in separate issues.
