How to get a list of Authors beging with A using the Views in Drupal?

Hello,

I have managed to display all of the Authors, I was wanting to add drop downs, which I have done but they don't work. I am making a website which has books on it, and I have created a authors list in the Taxonomy, using the Taxonomy I displayed all the authors so when a user clicks the link, all authors are displayed.

However, I wanted some drop downs where the user can select A to E, F to L etc. I have tried the different operators like "is one of" and selected a all of the ones that fit in that category but nothing is displayed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
