I have installed this promising module. I can upload the video via CCK. Then i run cron to send the file to the openpackage.biz website for transcoding. I have credit on at openpackage.biz. I have entered my u/n and password for the Openpackage settings, although my password never shows after i submit which i assume is for security.
This message i get on the node is "Transcoding failed. Please try another video."
The file format i am trying to use a SWF
Any thoughts?

mennonot commentedI had this problem with SWF as well as all other formats. I still haven't gotten that SWF working, but I have gotten other formats uploaded to Openpackage.biz (wmv, mp4, mov). I suspect the problem was that I wasn't running cron from the correct apache user. This is alluded to very briefly in #8 the Quickstart section on the module page:
The way I solved it was to call the crontab from the control panel supplied by my host (media temple) rather than from the browser. Based on this discussion, here's the line I used:
cd path/to/root/directory/html/; php cron.phpI was then able to upload my videos to openpackage.biz (though I still haven't figured out how to get them back from the site).

ferrangil commentedjbrown, it is possible to use the .swf instead of a .flv? I mean, if I have a .wmv file I know I must transcode it to .flv and then, display it on the web. But, if we have a .swf file, it's not possible to display this "flash" file??
It's just a question...
thanks!

jbrown commented#3 This is certainly a feature that could be implemented.
