Status of jquery_update 7.x-2.3-alpha1

What is the status of jquery_update 7.x-2.3-alpha1. It was created September 28, 2012 but have less than a thousand downloads and one open issue (a duplicate broken fields_ui issue).

Lets push it, by list it in the "Other releases" section of the http://drupal.org/project/jquery_update page.
Or move it to the "Recommended releases" list.

PS: I like the fact that I can alter the JQuery version with a custom hook_library_alter call to jquery_update_jquery_replace($javascript, $cdn, $path, $min, $version);
