New to OpenScholar (2.0 Beta 14). Just noticing on going through instructional videos/screencasts that the interface for Views is often vastly superior to mine -- much easier to isolate what you need and navigate. Example: http://vimeo.com/22330780
From a brief look around I see there's a Views 2 and Views 3, etc. Are the improvements just for Drupal 7+? It'd be very helpful if there were a safe way to upgrade the Views interface in the OpenScholar package.

All new development is aimed at d7+, but there is a version of views 3 for d6. It doesn't have the new UI though. For that you'll need to upgrade to d7 (no trivial task however).

Thank you, WorldFallz. I've learned in the past week that upgrades can be dangerous for newbies. And OpenScholar is currently truly compatible only with D6, I think. I'll just wait patiently for the promised revamp of OS for D7. ~A
