One other thing to consider may be supporting various video/audio hosting places that have APIs that let you post directly to hosting sites. Blip.tv, Odeo, MySpace, Flickr, and Photobucket come to mind. I think they all have APIs that already support this...

Yes, this is something that could be incorporated as a module pretty easily. If there are existing modules for drupal with this, it would not be hard to tie them into media mover.
