Hi Guys,
I'm new to Drupal, I'm running ubercart for my online store.
Now were i'm a bit stuck is graphics of the website the sheer volume of themes out there is overwhelming.
The one that stands out to me the most is Fusion. Having a look at topnotch themes there are 4 free ones they all say available for version 6 drupal and will be automatically upgraded when available for 7. the reason why I am after a free one is not because I dont want to pay its because I want to "Try before I buy" I dont really want to spend $200 on a theme that I can't use.
Are there other themes that are not from topnotchthemes you can use with fusion?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers,

Bump any one for any tips?
I have very little css php or html skills and wanting to get a site up and running.
What is the best core theme for a beginner?
Thanks
Try Acquia Prosper
As you are going with Ubercart and you like Fusion, then try Acquia Prosper as it is designed for Ubercart, thus will/should have the necessary styling out of the box. There is a Development version for D7, but that should be no issue if you're just taking it for a spin around the block.
As for a core theme; Bartik is a great general purpose theme, though I have no idea what Ubercart pages will look like on it.
Hope that helps

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. currently installed and giving it a go now.
Only issue is I have installed fusion as core and acquia prosper as the sub theme and the page appears white like there is no css theme enabled.
But when I have acquia prosper as my core and fusion as the sub theme it looks to be working fine? I also have fusion accelerator enabled.
Am I doing sothing wrong?
cheers
Enable just Acquia Prosper
You don't need to enable the base theme (ie. Fusion in this case) you just need to 'enable and set as default' the final theme, which in your case is Acquia Prosper.
As long as the base theme is in the sites/all/themes folder, the sub-theme will make use of it.
Hope that helps
