Modifying exposed filters to get rid of order by filter?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the default exposed filter?

Its quite contradicting when creating other filters, as of now when I try to change the exposed filters name, it modifies the label of the filter I created using 'Sort Criteria'. I am finding it hard to explain, I created an image illustrating what I mean.

It is doing what I would expect, the one label tells you how it is going to sort the field, the other is the text that shows for sort order.

It is not supposed to do that is it? The automatically generated one is the one under that 'order' label, the first one which you see under the 'Sort Alphabetically' is custom made based on the filters. I don't understand what's going on, it's really weird, or is it me? Am I doing something wrong?
