The custom gallery value currently uses the default values for the machine_name type, which allows only alphanumeric characters and underscores.

The default gallery value for Colorbox images inserted using the Insert module is "gallery-all", so if I want my inserted images to group together with images from another field I would have to set my custom gallery value to "gallery-all", which is not allowed.

There are of course ways around this, but this adds an unnecessary obstacle and I see no reason why hyphens should be disallowed in this place.

Please test this patch that should allow only lowercase letters, numbers, hyphen and underscores.
