I just installed and activated the latest captcha.module.
I have tried all the referenced patches to comments.module to get captchas working on comments with no luck.
I am running drupal 4.5.2.
Can someone point me to the definitive patch or version of comment.module?

Please refer to the patch linked on the main page. You'll need to manually add in the 2-3 lines into comment.module for this to work, if the comment.module file is too different from the one it was meant for.
