Page Not Found Issue

Hello,

I am using Drupal 7.x. I have my database connected. I can see my logo displaying. Under Content, I see all the content that is published. My issue is that I get the error"

"Page Not found"
"The requested page "/" could not be found".

Any ideas on why that error occurs?

The "Page not found" occured as soon as the page loaded - no other content displayed. I figured out the issue was due to default front page in Configuration listed incorrectly. I am now seeing some content but my top-left menu links are not displaying. I must not have the web page listed correctly in IIS. When I try the link it gives the error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I am new to drupal but I like it. Thanks
