Hello, I'm seeking an experienced sysadmin with deep Drupal knowledge to advise an internal web services team as they set up an in-house hosting/production/development environment for Drupal 7.x. The primary need is knowledge transfer; the internal team will implement the consultant's recommendations. The estimated length of the engagement is negotiable but the client is assuming 1-2 weeks length (not full time). The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of all aspects of Drupal, but especially issues like machine specs, security, backup & failover, dev/production setup, best practices regarding single vs multisites, etc. Previous experience with higher education and/or integrating Drupal with Shibboleth are strongly preferred. The work can start ASAP or anytime this (Spring '13) semester.
