Even with an up-to-date (feb 28, 2005) browscap.ini, I get a fair number of hits from browsers that aren't recognized. I would like to be able to see the actual useragent info returned for those, either directly added to the table and kept track of, or dumped to a text file for submission to the browscap.ini maintainers.

Not a bad idea, I'm seeing it myself. I can't promise when I'll get around to doing it, though...

Done - when the name comes back blank or as "Default Browser", the full user agent string is stored. Within minutes of deploying it on my live site, I caught a version of the Ask Jeeves crawler that browscap.ini didn't recognize (I've submitted it).
