After testing and uninstalling this module in a fresh D 7.18 site, the following entries were left behind in the variable table:

In my case, i installed 7.x-3.18 version. I noticed same case for me also.

I tried it on fresh install of 7.x-4.0-alpha6 version. No variables exists in variable tables after uninstall. i believe this issue has been fixed.

Thanks, good call. I went through the rest of the module and found quite a few variables we're not cleaning up properly. Committed these two patches to the appropriate branches.
