Here is the ability to limit the types of nodes that display in the block which lists posts by a users buddy, this is handy for a number of reasons, patch applied to current 4.7 release but should apply to current 5.x branch

Any news on when this would get added to 5.x release? i want this feature. If not has anyone tested the patch? Furthermore if i were to test the patch myself how do i apply these.patch files
