Hi everyone

I was wondering if there was a notification bar plugin similar to this one for wordpress?

I am looking to move one of my websites over to drupal and I can't find a module with the same functionality? I have searched through the module repository to no avail. Not sure if this is because non exist or I was using the wrong search queries.

Any pointers on this will be greatly appreaciated.

don't believe there is a module for this (probably because it's easy enough to do with a custom block and some css).

Here is an attempt to summerize the different options I found so far

Slidebox
Creates a box which provides a link to the next page in a sequence, which slides out when the user reaches the bottom of the current post. You can place your notification in diferent regions of your pages. (Top, Bottom, Right or left slideouts)

The Slide by Simple Reach:
The Slide recommends related posts from within your site on a widget that "slides" in at the bottom of the page. You've seen a similar content recommendation widget on sites like NYTimes.com, and now SimpleReach is allowing anybody to take advantage of this awesome plugin for free.

Absolute Messages:
Displays system messages in fully themeable colored horizontal bars on top of the page, similar to Stack Overflow / Stack Exchange network notifications.
