Hello:) I need to add a customer comments field to products.
ex)
for an embroidery product I want to have a text field for the customer to LMK what they want the design added to.
I can trade:
custom embroidery, embroidered kids/adult tees, cloth diapers (moddern styles)
or funds next month:)

So basically are you wanting to make it so the customer can add information that will be attached to the product invoice when it is sent to you?

I think since every product page is a node, you can set it up to accept comments already.

Actually that wouldn't work. The comments module post comments on the page that every customer sees. It wouldn't attach the comment to the actual purchase information.

It is really important that the info does get attached to purchase information...Does anyone know hot to set that up. Any help is appreciated. If I can already add this on my own PLMK how--b/c I am lost on this one! Thank You:)

You are wanting the comments on a product-item basis? Hm. Sounds useful. A freetext field added to the 'attributes' would be needed. Sorry , I dunno how.

Me, I'm here looking for a way to add additional customer comments - delivery instructions etc or just feedback to the Transaction order. Should be slightly easier. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Has anyone found a solution to this? I guess the webform module could help but not sure how
