I am trying to replicate a site... I have been doing a lot of Dupal tutorials and instead of going into Views any further I would like to try and figure out if I can make a start now and leave the Views til later.... This is if I don't need it for this site that is... So, is there a way to tell whether a site I would like to replicate uses Views by just looking at it?

If a site has lists of content (this includes galleries, grids, tables), while it may not be required, views would be first thought.

Look at the HTML. You will
Look at the HTML. You will see lots of classes that have 'views' in them if the page is using views.
