hello guys
i have client who want to change his site to drupal but he wants his site with database and the customer search the rate by the zip code or the address. by the way. he wants his site to be like ground link http://www.groundlink.com/ . so any ideas how i can build it!! which modules??

There are several mapping
There are several mapping options which allow you to build a search by zip code, for example Location module, Gmap Location, etc. Groundlink is harder to copy because it is international. It is an ecommerce site, so you will probably want to start with Drupal Commerce. Your search facility will no doubt be based on the Views module.
This is a somewhat complex task, and if you build this site for your customer without hiring a consultant you are sure to do your client a serious disservice. We have all seen disastrous Drupal sites, and we all make mistakes when learning Drupal. I have seen several sites which cost many thousands of dollars but which have to be scrapped completely, or which do not work well and are difficult and expensive to maintain. This applies to us all, even if you are a top-flight developer. Commerce Guys for example do offer mentoring. It is not cheap, but then a Drupal site of this sophistication is likely to be an six-figure project, and allocating some of the fees you charge to getting a bit of specialist Drupal help is highly recommended.
