How to filter a view by a nodes taxonomy term that changes from node to node

Hi. I'm trying to have a block display images of products that match a taxonomy term on the current node. With filters i can only filter by specific taxonomy terms. I want to filter by whatever the term is on the current node.
I've tried the contextual filters, but my term is not within the url. any ideas?

As long as the images and the nodes use the same taxonomy vocab, you should be able to use a contextual filter. Here's a screen shot of the settings.
