Disqus comments work 'perfectly' on my website (screenshot1 and screenshot2 are my witness).
After a couple of minutes they don't appear any longer.
After a few minutes the Disqus code just doesn't show up in the page source (screenshot3)
I could use a few pointers, ANY suggestion is welcome at this point.
I've tested this in multiple cases:
with Drupal's Default theme (Bartik) and with omega_kickstart theme
With and without '2012 features' in Disqus settings
Disqus as Drupal Block and without
with and without caching options ('cache pages for anonymous users', 'cache blocks', 'compress cached pages', 'aggregate and compress CSS files', 'aggregate JavaScript files')
With and without Varnish caching
all modules and Drupal core (7.18) are up2date stable versions (module list attached as screenshots)
Disqus works fine on a different website on the same server (fresh Commerce Kickstart install)

trvbr commentedI am having the same problem, with all points attempted as outlined by s1l above. I've also ran update.php, and disabled Mollom.
If I clear the cache, Disqus comes back. Eventually it disappears again. It doesn't seem related to cron. If I run cron, they are still there. (Then again, it could be cron, and maybe the cache outlives the cron cycle?)
Has anyone already solved this issue?

silkogelman commentedI ended up reinstalling the entire site from scratch - literally installing a new site, and (manually) migrating the content.
That did not help (I tested with a clean core install + Disqus module)
Then I reinstalled the entire site again, but created a new database and new file system (directory) for it.
That solved the issue for me.
Not sure what actually caused the issue, but I suspect it was database related.
