Integration with i18n for per-language defaults

Damien, I don't think this request is an exact duplicate of https://drupal.org/node/1282620 as the OP request was to be able to translate the Default metatag settings whereas the other link is about translating the frontpage metatags. I think if we could have something like a variable realm for metatag defaults we would be able to solve both issues.

My point was more that the front page's meta tags are controlled through the same system as the defaults, integration for one should affect both, right?

Sorry, I thought that fix was for the frontpage only. Could something like a variable realm be implemented in the MetaTag admin interface?
